I have a lot of freshly canned jam in my pantry these days–strawberry jam, blackberry jam, seedless raspberry jam–and all of the jars are beginning to look the same. Since I’m saving most of my jam to give as gifts during the holiday season, I want to label them now rather than wait 6 months and forget which jar is which. So, I drew out some simple little labels and made them into printable strawberry jam tags for all of us to use.
First, download the printable strawberry jam tags pdf here. Then, print out 1-2 sheets of the tags (depending on the number of jars you have). I recommend printing on cardstock, but plain paper will work too. Cut the tags out using the lines provided, and then use a hole punch to make a tie spot at the top. You can also clip the top corners off like I’ve done here; this will make a more classic “tag” shape. Tie the tags to your jars and you’re done!
You can find my strawberry jam recipe (no pectin!) here. If you’re new to canning, refer to my older post with full instructions on how to process canned goods. I’ve also made a list of which canning supplies to buy for the newbies. It explains how to get started for as little as $10. Homemade jam is inexpensive and makes a great gift, especially with these cute printable strawberry jam tags. Feel free to reach out to me with any and all canning questions as well!
